Randy is the best. simple as that. Ok, now let me explain why: Realtors are typically nice people, mostly because they have to be. Randy is MORE than that. He's nice in the same way a family member is nice, with a familiar level of comfort. He cares about getting to know you. Not just as a client, BUT AS A REAL PERSON. Conversations are not forced, and nothing is pushed. Randy is there to help you along a path he knows is difficult, and walks that path right beside you while never falling behind or getting too far ahead. My wife and I looked for a home over the span of 5 months with Randy, and visited probably 40-50 homes/condos/townhomes during that time. As anyone in the housing market here in the bay area knows, this housing market is fierce and the inventory is always low. It's a new and unexpected experience for everyone, including Realtors. Uncharted territory, and in a 'curl up into a ball and cry' kind of way. Randy held his own in the best of ways. He kept a good sense of humor throughout the process and was very patient. We made offers on something like 7 homes before getting the one I write from now. All were LARGE amounts of money over asking and with very few terms to the sellers. All were turned down for that one insane offer that no one could compete with, and that happened time and time again despite Randy's awesome efforts to speak with the listing agents. It started to get difficult on us to come short month after month, but Randy was always positive and always looking and networking. Very proactive and hardly ever reactive. He was always a quick e-mailer and caller, and there were times where he would call me to go over to a house that he found literally THAT MINUTE! He gave us every ounce of competitive edge over other home buyers that he could. He went all over the bay area with us and never complained once about it. During the process Randy used all of his knowledge to analyze the market, and educated us on proper ways to build our offers which kept us competitive without making rash decisions. If we had questions at any point, he was a call away. Often times he stayed up pretty late in the evening so we could talk, working with our work schedules. At no point did we feel like we were alone, or had needed to find extra help from others. Randy made us feel confident in ourselves and the process, even though it was a long and turbulent one. And yes, He was doing this while helping numerous other clients in exactly the same way. wow. Randy is a real guy, helping real people, couples, and families find a place to call home. He's not pushy or arrogant. He is patient and flexible. He's everything you would want in a friend, and happens to also be your Realtor. And a darn good one at that. If you've been searching for a Realtor, it stops right here. If you were referred to check Randy out, yep you've found the one and only. I can't say enough good things about this hard working and friendly guy and what he's done for my wife and I, but I have a word limit. Don't be shy, just give him a call. With his knowledge and experience we were able to prevail against 19 other offers, some that were all cash and one that had even outbid me. His ability to give a realistic estimate on the value of the property and it's likely selling price, as well as the likely bids from other parties made all the difference.
